For All Goods Left on Our Premises
- All service jobs submitted, are subject to a minimum assessment fee, (when the technician handles the device).
Mobile Devices – $58.50 inc GST
Computers – $68.50 inc GST
An extra $10 is charged for liquid damaged items. No warranty is offered on liquid damaged devices.
This fee is contributed to the labour charge of any repairs undertaken, it is not added to the repair total. - The repair of goods may result in the loss of data, please ensure you have made a copy of any data saved on your device.
- In most cases, you will not lose any information, data or settings. We do understand how important this is and do everything possible to preserve these. We will advise you prior if you’re at risk of losing this information. We cannot, however, take responsibility for lost information. Where possible we do recommend you backup your phone or device, prior to giving to us.
- In some circumstances, new parts may not be available and refurbished parts will be used.
- All property must be collected within 14 days from the time of completion date. We will notify you when a job is completed. After completion, the property may be disposed of after 90 days at our option. Unless payment arrangements are made prior.
- A demurrage fee of $1.10 (inc GST) per day applies to jobs that are collected after 14 days from completion.
- Warranty. A minimum of 3 months warranty applies to all parts and labour. Warranty will be void however if the device or parts have any physical damage, liquid ingress or any miss treatment.
- A $30 Handling fee may apply to items that have been returned under warranty which we deem not covered.
- A minimum postage fee of $15 will apply to all goods returned to you via post. Insurance will be an additional $10
- JCH Computers does not take responsibility for any items sent to us via Australia Post. Any items sent by us, to you will be registered and insured to the value of $100, as per Aus Post’s T & C’s. Extra insurance is available as an optional extra and must be specified prior to posting.
- If posting item/s to us, we encourage you to use “Registered post”. This will ensure the item is tracked and insured to the value of $100. (Extra insurance is available). Click this link full details from Australia Post:- Registered Post Details.
- When posting or sending item/s, it is your responsibility to ensure their items are packaged correctly.
- We do not refund a repair a phone that has call barring applied by it’s network provider. It is your responsibility to ensure the phone is legitimate. Unlocking a phone does not remove call barring.
